I was born at St. Olaf Hospital and raised in Maple Island near Hollandale. I attended Kindergarten through 8th grade at Hollandale Christian School and completed 9th through 12th grade at Blooming Prairie High School. I received my associate’s degree from Riverland Community College and my Bachelors of Science degree in accounting from Winona State University. After college I worked at Fastenal Company as an Assistant Tax Manager and I am currently working as an Accountant at Austin Medical Center. I am in the process of attaining a Master’s Degree from the University of South Dakota. My wife and I have a son Aidan in 3rd grade at Neveln starting in the GATE program this fall and Cecelia (Cece) in 1st grade at Southgate.
